2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse

The 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse denotes the essence Mitsubishi wants to exude with this line, its all about: style, fun, performance and value. The 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse comes in coupe and Spyder body design, the latter with a soft convertible top. Their styling is daring and distinguishing, symptomatic of an expensive sports car. The Eclipse is nimble, swift and goes where you direct it. The ride is silky smooth and comfortable, but doesn't segregate the driver from the action. The GT and GTS models support this statement with a superbly smooth and powerful V6 engine.

What's so wonderful about the 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse is that it gives you good odds on its dollar per gallon value as well a high rating in the fun-o-meter. That's why it's so popular. This is one of the most reasonably priced sporty cars on the market. Mitsubishi makes the 2005 Eclipse as a sleek hatchback coupe or as a sports car like two-door convertible. The coupe is available in RS, GS, GT, and GTS trim. The convertible, which Mitsubishi calls the Spyder, comes in GS, GT, and GTS trim. RS and GS models arrive with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that spits out 147 horsepower and 158 pounds-feet of torque.

The RS is the entry-level Eclipse, but it comes with an overabundance of features that make it gorgeous. 15-inch alloy wheels, power windows and locks, multi-adjustable front seats, folding rear seat, an interior air filtration system and a 140-watt AM/FM/CD stereo are included. Many have considered the Mitsubishi Eclipse especially its newest addition as a serious threat to those high priced European road warriors and the gas guzzling monsters from Detroit.
