2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Review
Mitsubishi presents the 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse as a sleek and sexy hatchback
coupe or as a classy and sophisticated two-door convertible. The coupe is obtainable
in RS, GS, GT, and GTS trim. The convertible, which Mitsubishi christened the
Spyder, comes in GS, GT, and GTS trim. The RS and GS models of the 2003 Eclipse
sports a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 158 pounds-feet
of torque.
The RS is the entry-level Eclipse, but it comes with a superfluity of features
that makes it irresistible, it includes 15-inch alloy wheels, power windows and
locks, multi-adjustable front seats, folding rear seat, an interior air filtration
system and a 140-watt AM/FM/CD stereo. The GT evolves to a significantly superior
level of performance. The GT coupe arrives with a 24-valve V6 that transports
200 horsepower and 205 pounds-feet of torque. GT coupe and Spyder equally uses
aggressive looking 17-inch wheels, an improved suspension and four-wheel-disc
brakes to assist in keeping the amplified power on the roadway.
Incorporated fog lights, chrome exhaust tips and color-keyed ground effects add
image to the GT's performance personality. GTS gets the ABS, side-impact airbags,
12-way adjustable leather seats, a six-disc CD changer and steering-wheel-mounted
audio controls. The GTS coupe is presented with a sunroof. GTS also gets a vaguely
supplementary powerful V6 that benefits from variable induction and advanced compression
pistons. Benefiting from excellent design and engineering from Mitsubishi. The
2003 Mitsubishi eclipse presents highly recommendable performance and supreme
handling. A great car with a great price to boot it's certainly a fantastic deal.
