1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse
A blast to drive, extremely quick, excellent handling, all these and more describes the 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse. It comes in four trims; the base model RS, and GS models are 2.0L 4-cylinder DOHC engines producing a modest 140hp. Only the GS-T and the GSX are turbo-charged. The intercooled, turbo-charged, 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder, 16 valve DOHC, producing 210hp will literally compress you into your seat. The acceleration and throttle response is remarkable.

The 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse will clench through a turn and accelerate nicer than anything in its class. It doesn't redline until 7000 rpm. The turbo-charged engines provide unbelievable power with decent gas mileage, roughly about 21 in the city and do 27 on the highway. The 140hp models get the same mileage as the 210hp GS-T. This second generation of the Mitsubishi Eclipse is what made it survive the down fall of its co-DSM when it was conceived in 1990. Many fell in love with its design and fast ride and affordable price.
